creamy apple vinaigrette
Our Apple Butter adds the perfect creamy texture to this lovely salad dressing.
Makes about 20 oz.
1 1/4 c. good olive oil
1/2 c. apple juice
1/4 c. white balsamic vinegar
1 small shallot, cut into quarters
1 garlic clove
2 tsp. dijon mustard
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
1. Add all ingredients except for the oil to a food processor.
2. Turn on machine, and slowly drizzle in olive oil while processor is running.
3. Taste and re-season, if necessary. Store in a mason jar for up to 1 month.
